In Algebra I , you will learn many things that will be small but critical details in your journey throughout mathematics. Some of these details are things such as negative and positive numbers, distributive property, systems of equations, “y=mx+b” or in other words linear equations, How to solve word problems using variables in places for unknowns in addition to solving for square root and radicals. Through this Quarter 4 benchmark all four of us, Alicia, Yasmeen, Michaela, Lukas and Griffin have placed together a full SparkNotes Resource Site for future Algebra I learners. Included in this site is the majority of what we have learned through our Algebra I journey. Each unit has challenge problems that you will find on the SAT’s, one challenge problem from a geometry or Algebra II class as in addition to one example from a real-life situation. We also, included the various amounts of steps necessary for explaining or giving an example of the SAT/ACT,Geo./Alg.2, and real life example problems. Furthermore, we each gave an example of our own problem to show our understanding of the concept we chose to do.
